There were three members of the organizing team, Prof. Mashhoor Al-Wardat, Mr. Mohamed Talafah, and Mr. Ammar Abdulla. It was possible to observe the Sun, Jupiter, Saturn, Venus, the open cluster M45, the stellar cluster M42, and the Orion nebula M42 using several telescopes.

Star Gazing for the Professional Diploma in Optical Astronomical Observation
A star gazing session was held in the Al-Faya region, near Sharjah, by the Sharjah Optical Observatory of the Sharjah Academy for Astronomy, Space Sciences, and Technology for the students enrolled in the Professional Diploma in Optical Astronomical Observation program.
