SAASST Space Sciences Future Projects

UAEMMN Observation Report Perseid Shower

The Perseids are one of the major meteor showers primarily observed in the northern hemisphere. Active from July 14 to September 1, its peak is typically around August 12 or 13. This meteor shower is a consequence of the Earth’s intersection with the debris trail from Comet 109P/Swift-Tuttle.
