The two-hour ceremony began with opening words from Prof. Ilias Fernini, Deputy General Director for Research, where he thanked the graduates for their time and effort and the academy for welcoming the trainees. This was followed by four presentations wherein the 12 interns from different laboratories presented the work that they had done and what they learned during their time at the academy. Two interns from the high-energy astrophysics lab, two interns from the instrumental maintenance team, five interns from the space weather and ionosphere lab, and three interns from the radio astronomy lab gave their final presentations. After the presentations, the interns were then handed their graduation certificates by their respective supervisors.
